VECTRA® is the world’s best fabric protector on the market today. A gentle mist is all that is necessary to provide maximum protection for your fine furnishings, rugs, and carpets. Your fine fabrics and carpeting does not need to be saturated to provide protection. Vectra’s ingredients have petroleum based pr0perties that when airborne are inert (meaning that they are not harmful to humans, animals and the planet) when used with proper ventilation and when properly cured are non-toxic and safe to humans, animals and the planet. A gentle misting is all that is necessary to provide maximum protection for our clients’ fine furnishings and carpeting. Vectra gives you the ability to maintain that luxurious ” New” look of all your fabrics and floor-coverings. While it is recommended for use on all your new furnishings, Vectra works well on older items, that are freshly cleaned, with slightly less dramatic results. It prevents dirt from penetrating the fiber, on a molecular level, reducing friction and the accelerated wear of your fabrics which increases its life and durability.

A: You can test by taking a teaspoon of olive oil and drop onto the back side of the skirt of your sofa or chair or a non-conspicuous place on your rugs and carpet. If it beads up then most likely, it has been treated with a “fluorocarbon” based protector. You can apply VECTRA® over them and VECTRA® will lock them in so they do not release into your home environment or transfer into your skin or that of your pets.
A: Although VECTRA® 22 and Scotchgard® are both protectors, VECTRA® 22 works by deeply penetrating the molecule of the fiber where staining occurs thereby providing durable protection against tough stains. It is not a temporary surface (topical) coating.
A: No product will prevent soiling. However, VECTRA® 22 will protect your fabrics and carpets against PERMANENT STAINS–GREASE, WINE, WATER, and even PET STAINS.
A: Unlike most protection products, VECTRA® 22 is formulated with durable agents allowing most spots or soil to be removed with simple household cleaners such as mild detergent and water on a dampened towel gently blotted. A: This product is safe for use on all fine colorfast carpets, rugs, upholstery, automobile interiors and apparels, as well as on cashmere, wool, silk, suede and porous leather. No other materials are specified.
A: As Vectra is applied, there may be a mild inoffensive odor when wet. However, there is no odor when it becomes dry.
